later stinktown

So what's going on?

Well I'm still a little sore from a Body Combat class I took Wednesday during lunch. I'm probably even more sore than I should be since I was stumbling through the routine. And by "stumbling through the routine" I was of course referring to me getting lots of the moves off beat and reversed. I've got an incredible memory when it comes to sports and stuff like that but when it comes to remembering like 5 or 6 moves at a time - not that money.

I tried to work some of it out this morning during my weekly hour with Andre at Clocktower. The only that I'm sure of is that I really hate squat jumps. I'm pretty sure squat jumps even hate squat jumps.

So I had a major decision to make today - I was opening up a Starburst and I dropped it in the trash while I was unwrapping it. I mean it was my office trash can and there wasn't anything in there. I still just couldn't do it. I was having a Seinfeld flashback.

Speaking of those aforementioned Starbursts, the lady down the hall is killing me with the candy. It's awesome that she finally put something in her bowl that I would actually eat (chocolate isn't that money). It's that I had way too many of them today. Nothing like crushing sugar all day to make my gut get smaller.

Awesome.

Did you know that Starbursts came out in the 1960s? I didn't. I would have guessed like 1983 +/- a few years.

So at work we are all sorta waiting for the word on a rather lucrative contract that will greatly effect our finances. Not getting this contract renewal could be catastrophic for yours truly. Word should be out next week. That being said, there is some good news. I am adding to my job duties. That can't be bad right?

Wrong.

Well my new duty is that I go into the janitor's closet and fill up empty bottles from our water cooler so that the owner of the company has water at his house. I think my ECON degree from JMU is really coming through big these days.

Why do I get that feeling that Obama is trying to scare people into thinking that the Stimulus bill, as its currently composed, is something that we need right now?

NBA Tonight: I haven't posted my high scorer in awhile. I think the layoff will really help me get the winner. I'm going to go ahead and tap Kevin Durant on the shoulder.

The best Youtube stuff I've seen since yesterday:

1. In this one, Tom Daschle brags about driving an older car to work everyday. Looks like times have sure changed.

2. In this one, Pelosi proves that she's a liar. My favorite part is when she raises her hand. Ok. NOW I'm convinced.

3. In this one, Pelosi proves that she's an idiot.
