Tough week for the Vets but I'm happy to announce that there is still some old devil magic left in this group.
Playing the third game in as many nights, we were able to come back from a halftime deficit to extend our season into the semi finals of the Vienna Summer League. After failing to secure the top seed on Wednesday night, we needed all we could muster to advance out of the 4/5 matchup against the team that had given us our first loss of the season.
Next up is a rematch of last years championship game as we take on One on One Basketball in the second game of the semis on Wednesday night.
I have been slacking big time on this blog but I really intend to keep this updated much more frequently - especially with my roadtrip set to kick off next Friday as I fly out to Portland to meet Brendan.
I gotta leave in about 4 hours for VA Beach so I must be going. I'll have much more good stuff Sunday evening - I swear.
