Loudoun United??? Baltimore United???

The District Sleeps Alone Tonight: It looks like there are now two situations that will land DC United on the front page of the Washington Post. The first is winning a domestic championship, and luckily for the fans, it has happened 4 times in the 11 year history of the league. Reason #2 isn't nearly as sweet. This story ruined a perfectly good bowl of Banana Oatmeal this past weekend.

My advice? Just like everything else in life we should enjoy the hell out of it while we have it because you never know when it might be gone. Hopefully this is just your typical political posturing and nothing more....but you never know! I mean this is the same city that let the Redskins walk.

DVR 1 Me 0: Seriously how many times do I have to miss the last few seconds of a show that I recorded on my DVR before I learn my freaking lesson? Cox DVR is just a little too smart for me apparently - must have some sort of post graduate degree that I am unaware of.

Really?

The Mets cut the soon to be 49-year-old Julio Franco. Thank god the Braves want to see a 50-year-old play MLB as much as I do.

Papkin scheduled a fantasy draft time that next to nobody can attend. Good job.

Jeff Green showed up to play at Kenner League this past weekend. What a tease.

The KG Vets got down by 21 points only to come back within a possession of tying the game. So much for a perfect season idiots. Currently sitting tied for first at 5-1 with 2 other teams.

Does anybody get ESPN Deportes? I sorta want to watch Roy Hibbert play in the PanAm Games. Sorry.

39 days and counting until the Irish take the field. Is there anything better than a crisp breeze in the air and countless hours of College Football to watch? Well sure, but it's a very short list.
