what to look for...

The first thing you want to look for in the Georgetown box score is the assist to made shots ratio. It was very nice tonight. 17 assists on 28 made shots. That is strong.

The 2nd thing you want to look at is the field goal percentage. Tonight it was 53%. That's a good number. If the first number you looked at was strong, it's very likely that the 2nd is strong. It was.

If you find yourself with 1st and 2nd numbers that don't really correlate, the answer can most likely be seen in the third column. So go ahead and check out how many 3 pointers the guys took. If they took a bunch of bad shots from downtown, it will throw off the overall field goal percentage even if the assist to made shots ratio is nice.

Disclaimer...you can throw everything out the window if they rebound like a girls jv team. And that was a major problem last year.
