nice try farmer

I figured that my worst case sports scenario of the day would have been Delaware somehow beating Navy. I mean that would have been pretty embarrassing really when you consider that Notre Dame lost to the Midshipmen last weekend.

Yeah I was way off on that one.

As it turns out, worst case sports scenario was losing Robin Van Persie for an extended period of time. Did I mention that he was playing in a meaningless "Friendly"? Well I should have. Friendly? What a miserable way to describe a game where the object is to win.

Speaking of international games, the US lost to Slovakia this morning. Slovakia got the win under their coach, Coach Weiss. I couldn't help but think that it would be the only game I watched all day where somebody named Weiss, or Weis, would get the win. I was right.

ND: I'd like to thank Charlie. He's leaving the team in better shape then he found them. But it's a "gots to go" situation. He's in waaaay over his head and it's becoming toxic. It's unbelievable just how bad the offensive line is against mostly minimal pass rushes. I don't really even blame him. I blame the people who hired him.

South Bend isn't the place where you should be learning how to be a head coach.

OMG is it Tuesday yet?
