straight cash right out of the gate

College Basketball in early November will never be confused with a well-oiled machine.

Take tonight's Georgetown at Tulane contest as an example.

Remember how I said that for $9.95/month you could sign up for Tulane Green Wave TV and watch tonight's game? Yeah that was completely bogus. Fortunately for me I didn't sign up. But a bunch of people from the Hoya Talk board did.

Dagger.

Now they are stuck with a bunch of garbage video that they will never, ever watch.

The game was supposed to tip at 9pm tonight. Yeah go ahead and make that 930pm. Apparently the women's game went late.

Channelsurfing.net had the game available on their menu. Yeah that didn't work until the 2nd half. So even though it's the year 2009, you had a ranked team playing in a game that was only available via the AM radio dial.

Awesome.

Of course it did actually start working right before the half-time break.

Did I mention that twitter was way ahead of the video? Well it was. Not that money really.

All in all it's ok, college basketball. I missed you so much I can overlook your faults. Well at least for tonight anyway.

See you Tuesday at 230 in the Acela Club.
