what a beautiful day for basketball

So let's see what we have here so far. It's a Saturday. I got up early to come to work. It's about 27 degrees outside. And I still have a cough.

Who cares???

Games are about to tip-off in the Big East right now. That's a beautiful thing brother. Damn sexy if you ask me.

Notre Dame @ Pittsburgh and West Virginia @ Louisville at noon.

Georgetown @ Marquette at 2pm.

Providence @ UConn at 4pm.

I can't wait. I need to get the hell out of here before everybody's heroes take the floor at 2pm.

The boys need a win like never before. Even without Summers I think they are more than capable of pulling off the upset. Of course you do...you are the most biased person on the planet when it comes to the Blue and Gray.

No seriously. I'll tell you how they do it. They go back to playing great defense. Their confidence has been taken from them with the poor shooting, but you can't let that effect your entire game. The shots will fall. Just run the offense. Hold the ball and take the breaks when they are available. Stop thinking so much.

This team didn't become horrible over night. They have great young players that are still trying to find a team indentity. I can't think of a better time than right now.

Look its not going be easy today but, win or lose, they need to start showing better. There's a lot of time left to get better but it's getting smaller and smaller with each game.

Fix it John.

Update on the early games - The Irish are going nuts from behind the 3 point line. They need a big win just as much as the Hoyas. It also looks like today is the day where the coaches where sneakers to benefit cancer research.

Louisville and West Virginia are both shooting below 30% right now. Ouch.
