my new office

Kind of ironic that I get a new office on a Thursday when The Office is a repeat.

So what else is new today?

1. I burned popcorn. The bag said to put it in the microwave for 2 to 5 minutes. I went with 2 because I've had poor burning experiences in the past. Well 2 minutes was way too long. Maybe I should have stayed next to it instead of walk around like a moron.

2. The Hoya message board should be shut down. The amount of crying is off the charts. It's not even February yet. Coach said he would figure it out. He doesn't normally say so definitively like that without feeling really strongly about it. He's not one to shoot his mouth off so I have no reason to think he's lying. I've also got nothing better to do so I'll just sit here and watch it unfold.

3. I just noticed that there isn't a trash can in here. I don't have a place to dump the burnt popcorn. Dagger.

4. When something happens to a Hoya, you will never know the true story. Summers had an injury last night that kept him from playing the last 27 minutes and that's all we will ever about it. Issues like this are treated as if they are national secrets in a communist country. Good luck ever learning the truth.

5. I operate on two hour delays if there is snow or ice outside. I think its generally a good policy to follow. I think it lessens the chances of a weather induced accident. It also lessens my time at work. Win win.

6. Did you notice that older people tend to email you and then come into your office and tell you exactly what they just emailed you? Well they do and its super annoying. Either pick face to face or email. You can't have both.

7. I probably shouldn't be blogging at work.
