time flies when you don't blog

Well the last time I checked in I was all giddy to be finally seeing a game in the Carrier Dome. Yeah, uh, that didn't exactly go the way we were hoping. Turns out I have to go back at least one more time to see the Hoyas pick up a win.

My guys in the road Blue decided to reward my nightmarish morning (I left the house at 4:22am) by falling behind by 21 points just minutes into the contest. Being the constant optimist that I am during Hoya games, I never figured they would lose. I looked pretty smart when they got to within 5 very quick into the second half, but the large deficit proved to be too much to overcome.

Funny thing is that even though I have absolutely no impact on the outcomes of these games, (for those of you keeping track my lucky outfit is officially not lucky anymore) I can pretty much handle anything as long as I am actually in the arena. Switch to me watching the games at my place and I can't stand it. Luckily I was able to find another dedicated Roy Hibbert fan to watch the Providence game with me at, get this, a public place. I have a pretty strict I Don't Watch Games in Public stance that I decided to lift on President's Day. Somehow they were able to overcome my viewing venue and produce a win.

Don't look now: In the last two games Jeremiah has hit a three and taken a steal coast to coast for a monster jam. Wow. I hope the rest of the college basketball world is watching and taking notes. This guy is gonna be ready come tournament time baby.
